They held a press briefing to announce their demands at the Jatiya Press Club in the capital, said a press release. Bangladesh Bidi Sramik Federation President M K Bangali placed the demands in a written speech, where he claimed scores of employees, including widow, paralyzed and illiterate men, will lose their jobs if the present tax and advanced income tax from the current fiscal year continue. Bangladesh Bidi Sramik Federation Executive President Amin Uddin BSc, its General Secretary Abdur Rahman, Central Joint Secretary Herik Hossain, Organizing Secretary Abdul Gafur,Women Affiars Seretary Maya Begum, and Publicity Secretary Sirazul Islam, among others, were present in the program.
