Worker with broken leg leaves Muskrat Falls in ambulance from Happy Valley-Goose Bay

Protesters delayed an ambulance at Muskrat Falls Friday morning, when an injured worker needed to be taken to hospital. After some debate, the protesters allowed the worker, who had a broken leg, to be transferred to an ambulance from Happy Valley-Goose Bay, allowing all emergency vehicles based at Muskrat Falls to remain available on the construction site. Originally the protesters said the Muskrat Falls ambulance could leave but not come back, which would leave the site without one of its emergency vehicles. Friday's ambulance incident marks the first time a vehicle has been let into Muskrat Falls since Sunday.
