more-inChief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday directed that the ongoing development work in close to 1,500 unauthorised colonies in the city be concluded by the end of 2018. “A colony-wise deadline is to be set for the completion of such projects,” said the official. “None of these colonies should be without roads and drains. Submit a deadline for each of these colonies and each should be met,” Mr. Kejriwal said. These deadlines, he said were “sacrosanct.”“I want to see development all over Delhi, for all classes be them the poor, lower middle class or middle class or those residing in unauthorised colonies,” he said.
