Women Members of Parliament have come out to condemn demeaning remarks against nominated MP Sabina Chege. Led by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei the women leaders vowed to stand with Chege. "As women parliamentarians, we stand firm with Sabina Chege and have offered her our fullest support. On behalf of the Kenyan women we condemn the abuse directed at Sabina Chege," she said. Karua, on Monday, told off Gaucho over his remarks saying he should not criticise leaders based on their physical appearance.
