TikTok user @Miaslaterxo uploaded a video of the cleaning hack and gained more than 1.3 million views as others vowed to try it out for themselves. Mia says: "Cleaning tip to deep clean and fluff up carpets way more than a hoover can." She then takes the squeegee she purchased from Ikea for just 75p, pulling backwards on the carpet to bring out all dirt hidden in the fibres. Hundreds of viewers were left stunned by the results, as one person commented to say: "I legit have the same carpet and this helped so much thank you." A second said: "Oh I love doing this to my carpets, especially the stairs which always seems to need it more for some reason."
