A woman who helped police move a body with her ute says she has been stung with a trespass notice from the Defence Force for her efforts, six months after the event. However, the Defence Force dispute this, saying the notice related to another incident. "Before it got dark, mum and I located where on the beach it was and dropped a GPS on the body," the woman said. They agreed, and the body was loaded onto her ute which was then driven to the Defence Force base. However, a Defence Force spokesperson said on Monday the notice was not issued in connection with the discovery of the body.
