Woman rescued at York Bay, Lower HuttSUPPLIED A woman in her 50s was taken to Hutt Hospital after falling “a few metres" at York Bay in Lower Hutt. A woman was rescued and taken to hospital after falling at York Bay, near Wellington. An ambulance spokesman said the woman in her 50s fell down a "few metres" near a stream. A Fire Service spokesman said it assisted to help "carry her out" on Sunday after the incident, which happened about 12pm. She was taken to Hutt Hospital with serious injuries.
