GRAND RAPDIS, MI – One woman was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning on the city’s Southwest Side, Grand Rapids police said. Officers responded to a 1:15 a.m. report of a shooting Sunday, Sept. 3, near the intersection of Freeman Avenue SW and Hall Street SW.From there, one woman was taken to an area hospital where she died upon arrival. Additional details about the shooting were not immediately available.
