"The Pakistani government has finally accepted Rubeena as its national. Justice Mohommad Yaqoob Mir of the J&K High Court ordered that Rubeena be deported within four weeks. It was a chance meeting of Mir with Rubeena in the jail that prompted the former to file the case in the J&K high court. This followed the meeting of the officials of Pakistan high commission with Rubeena at central jail Amritsar on February 26 2013. I collected details of her relatives which helped in the case and finally she was accepted by Pakistan," said Mir.
