By ADISA VALENTINEMore by this AuthorA woman who poisoned and killed her 12-year-old son has been jailed for 15 years by a Kakamega court. The woman is said to have given the boy a drink which was laced with a pesticide. The woman and daughter survived after they were rushed to hospital for treatment but her son did not make it. The prosecution told the court that the woman laced a drink with the pesticide and gave it to the children drink before she drunk it herself. Her son collapsed and died at the home of a neighbour where he had gone to join other children to play.
