Police until Friday, managed to arrest seven of the accused after the woman filed a case in this regard on Wednesday afternoon, confirmed the case Investigating Officer (IO) Krishnamohan of Walia police outpost in Lalpur. The woman was raped in Walipur area of Lalpur on Tuesday night after her daughter's father-in-law took her there saying that he has found a woman best suited for her son to marry. The case was filed at Natore's Lalpur police station. Police are conducting drives to arrest the rest of the accused in the case, said Lalpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Selim Reza.
