The woman was identified as Monthian Phanmueang, 45. The Mueang Suphan Buri police station was alerted of the murder at 12.40am Tuesday. A villager, Daoruang Pumphan, 60, said he found the body while he was fishing in the area in Moo 4 vilage in Tambon Thaptee. A doctor from Chao Phraya Yommaraj Hospital said the woman appeared to have died about four to six hours before she was discovered. Boonthiam Phanmueang, the woman's brother, said his sister had not returned home after she went to work two days ago.
