KUALA LUMPUR: A 24-year-old woman was murdered while her boyfriend was rushed to the emergency room for attempting to consume floor liquid cleaner in an incident in Kampung Padang Balang Sentul yesterday. Wangsa Maju district police chief Superintendent Rajab Ahad Ismail said a report on the body’s discovery was made by another woman known to the deceased. “The Setapak police station received a report at 5.52pm yesterday from a woman who found a body at a house in Kampung Padang Balang Sentul. He said the body was then sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post mortem and identification. “At the same time, a 43-year-old male suspect, who is the victim’s boyfriend, was also at the scene and was brought to Kuala Lumpur Hospital to seek emergency treatment for vomiting blood and shortness of breath, after attempting to drink floor cleaning liquid.
