By SAM KIPLAGATMore by this AuthorA 24-year-old woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death in Nairobi’s Buru Buru estate nearly three years ago has been found guilty of murder. High Court Judge Jessie Lesiit dismissed Ruth Wanjiku Kamande’s defence, claiming the she acted in self defence. Ms Kamande, who was aged 21 then, is accused of stabbing Mr Mohammed 25 times using a kitchen knife. The woman, who was crowned Miss Lang’ata Prison beauty pageant in 2016, denied murdering Mr Mohammed on September 20, 2015. Mr Mohammed died in hospital while undergoing treatment.
