An aspiring actress and singer who plunged from the 19th floor of a high-rise building may have been murdered, according to police. Bethany-Maria Beales (22) died of catastrophic injuries after falling from a balcony of an apartment in The Heron, a 36-storey building in London, UK, after a night out with friends on Saturday. Her body was discovered on a glass-covered walkway at the foot of the luxury residential skyscraper, where properties cost up to £10 million (R166 million), according to Daily Mail. “They have both since been released on conditional police bail whilst the investigation into the circumstances of this incident continues,” a City of London police spokesperson said. Meanwhile, the Roehampton university graduate’s family are mourning the loss of their “songbird”.
