CATARMAN, Northern, Samar – A 26-year-old woman was found dead in Barangay Salhag, Rosario town in Northern Samar around 6 a.m. on Wednesday. De Guia reportedly worked as a call center agent in Manila and went home to Catarman to vote in the May 13 elections. The day before she was found dead, Ellen left home with some friends but did not tell her family where she was going. An investigation was ongoing to identify the killer of De Guia, who is the mother of a 7-year-old boy. The police learned that De Guia went to a barangay fiesta and was also seen being forced to ride in a motorcycle a few hours before she was found dead.
