A woman found injured in a Waiuku paddock remains in a critical condition in an Auckland hospital as police work find out what happened. It's understood the woman had stab wounds and was found near her car on Morley Rd this morning. One man working on a nearby property nearby saw the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter in the paddock at about 7.30am. Forensic staff were looking at the car and searching the paddock. Police said the incident was not linked to a search for a man in the same town last night.
