A woman has died after being found with multiple stab wounds as a man is arrested for murder, police say. Officers rushed to an address in Stalybridge, Tameside in the early hours of Wednesday where they discovered the victim. She was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later, Greater Manchester Police said. A man, in his 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody, the force added.
