Heatley took a video of the washing on her phone before confronting the woman and telling her to stop, the article noted. Heatley said that when she saw how the dog was reacting, “I couldn’t just not say anything.”According to the Hamilton police investigation, the article continued, it was then that the dog owner caused “a disturbance” and police responded to the scene.
