A woman armed with a knife stole a car stopped at the intersection of Huxley and Burlington streets in Christchurch. A woman has been car-jacked at knifepoint in Christchurch. The incident happened at the intersection of Huxley and Burlington streets, in Sydenham at about 7am on Saturday, police said. The woman was parked when a robber, believed to be a woman wearing a red and white bandana across her face, a black leather jacket and a green cap, approached her brandishing a knife and took the car. People are advised not to approach the vehicle or attacker, but to call 111 immediately.
