more-inThe courage and presence of mind shown by a 23-year-old woman passenger led to the arrest of a man who allegedly flashed her on board a local train. Police said the complainant began video-recording the accused in the act with her mobile, which helped them nab him within 48 hours. ACP Machhindra Chavan, CSMT Division, Mumbai GRP, said, “The accused boarded the compartment for handicapped passengers at CSMT, next to the ladies compartment in which the complainant was travelling. “We put a special team on the job, who went through CCTV footage at CSMT and other stations. The accused was identified using the video shot by the complainant, and picked up at 6 a.m. on Monday,” Mr. Chavan said.
