A pregnant mother-of-three and her unborn child were killed in a Los Angeles shooting on Sunday morning, officials have said. Arlene Leonor Rodriguez, 24, was seven months pregnant with her fourth child when she was killed by a gunman as she was sitting in her car in a Wilmington neighborhood. Paramedics rushed the victims to a local hospital where Rodriguez and her unborn baby - a boy - were pronounced dead. 'She was seven months pregnant, and tragically her baby did not survive,' LAPD said in a statement. Rodriguez, who was the mother of three children - a three-year-old boy and two-year-old twin girls - had just celebrated her birthday eight days before the shooting.
