One elderly female patient died from the coronavirus disease today, pushing the total tally of deaths in Hong Kong to 89. The Hospital Authority said the 83-year-old woman was admitted to United Christian Hospital on August 2 due to fever and cough. Her condition continued to deteriorate and she died at 9:43am today. She lived in Kam Wan House, Choi Hung Estate and did not have any recent travel history.
