Kayla Jean Giles, 31, from Alexandria in Louisiana, arranged to meet Thomas Coutee Jr outside the local store for a child custody exchange. Giles has been charged with second-degree murder and was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on $500,000 bond. All three escaped were uninjured in the shooting and are not in the custody of family members. The shooting took place in the 'outer area' of the parking lot with few other cars around, according to police.
