The Los Angeles Police Department has launched an investigation into claims Armie Hammer violently raped a young woman. On Thursday, a woman identified as 'Effie' claimed Armie Hammer violently raped her in Los Angeles on April 24, 2017. Brettler told TMZ that Effie had sent Hammer 'sexual texts as recently as July 18, 2020'. Mr. Hammer responded making it clear that he did not want to maintain that type of relationship with her.
