KOTA BARU: Carjackers took a 63-year-old woman and her two grandchildren on a 25km terror ride in Batu Jong near Kuala Krai last night, police said today. Kuala Krai police chief Superintendent Abdullah Roning said the incident happened at 10.40pm at a petrol station near Batu Jong. He said the woman was travelling in a car with four of his family members and had stopped at the petrol station to refuel. He said about midnight, a police team found the woman and her two grandchildren abandoned by the roadside at Kampung Bukit Bakst near Machang. "The victim's car was found not far away later in the day."
