IPOH: A 70-year-old woman claimed she lost her life savings of almost RM117,000 after she was charmed by some people at the Ipoh Central Market. Kan Wai Leng, 70, said she was at the market when a woman asked her if she knew someone by the name of Dr Wong. A few minutes later, another lady told Kan that she knows Dr Wong and that he had saved her mother-in-law. “When I met the second lady, who was in her 40s, she touched my palm and my face turned cold. Another woman, who claimed she was Dr Wong’s granddaughter, appeared and told Kan that a ghost was following her.
