KUALA LUMPUR (April 28): The FBM KLCI may take the cue today from Tenaga Nasional Bhd's latest financials and US shares' overnight rise. Malaysia state-controlled utility Tenaga is a component of the 30-stock KLCI, hence, Tenaga share movements may influence the broader market. Tenaga said net profit rose to RM1.48 billion in the second quarter ended February 28, 2017 from RM1.32 billion a year earlier. Tenaga shares added two sen to RM13.86. Reuters reported that Nasdaq ended at a record high on Thursday, boosted by results-related gains in Comcast, PayPal and Intuit, while the S&P 500 and the Dow were little changed.
