Wolves leave new bison neighbours alone in Banff National Park

Wolves in Banff National Park haven't yet tried to take down one of their new neighbours. Wolves are one of the few species bold enough to try to take down a bison, Hunt says. A herd of 34 bison are now free-roaming in Banff National Park after a reintroduction project that began in February 2017. Banff bison cross the Panther River. The bison are free-roaming a large area in the remote eastern slopes of Banff National Park.
