On May 18th, for the first time in a long, long time, either Wolves or Watford will be in the FA Cup final again. Wolves and Watford are arguably the two best-placed sides to mount an FA Cup challenge. Currently seventh and eighth respectively in the Premier League, they are the ‘best of the rest’ outside of the top six. In terms of prize money, the FA Cup is huge for lower-league sides, but isn’t that important for Premier League clubs.
