Witnesses claim Obado bribed them to vote in August

Five witnesses have said Migori Governor Okoth Obado bribed voters ahead of the August 8 general election. They said Obado's handlers gave residents cash and asked them to vote for the politician. "A ward administrator told us the Governor gave the money," he said on Monday. Tom Omollo, a driver, said he received Sh300 from Obado's handlers in April during a meeting for Sony Sugar Company workers. The witnesses said Obado should be charged as the first suspect.
