Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters arrives at the High Court in Auckland with his lawyer Brian Henry. Two public servants who gave evidence in Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters' High Court case can now be named, after Stuff challenged their bid for name suppression. Tolley told Harvey about the overpayment, who in turn told Murchison and another colleague. Harvey said he told Murchison about the overpayment in the context of a "a respectfully collaborative working style" in the minister's office. Murchison also gave evidence in the case, saying when Harvey told her about the overpayment it was a "very high-level overview".
