The sole shareholder of Future Forest Products is Kinleith Continuation LP, a limited partnership of which David Henry is the public partner. In its statement, Future Forest Products said it was "entirely financed by private equity" via Kinleith Continuation but would always be majority New Zealand-owned. National Party regional development spokesman Chris Bishop has called for the auditor-general to investigate Future Forest Products' dealings with the Provincial Growth Fund.
