For the second year in a row, a St. Norbert teenager has taken the top prize in a rural Manitoba pumpkin growing contest. Milan Lukes took first place at the Roland Pumpkin Fair on Saturday with a monster 630 kilogram (1389 pound) pumpkin. "It was too much for the scale ... the scale read 'Error,'" said Lukes, 14, adding that after the scale at the fair reached 1287 lbs., it wouldn't go any higher. Never before in #RolandPumpkinFair s 26 yr history-Milan's pumpkin broke the scale!!! Mylan Lukes' pumpkin was so big, it broke the scale.
