Students at École Marie-Anne Gaboury in Winnipeg worked together this week to build an epic snow fort in front of their school. The snow fort at École Marie-Anne-Gaboury is 36 ft long and more than 7 ft high. Students took turns during gym class filling and hauling toboggans with snow around the school property, while older students piled them higher and higher — all in cold conditions. The snow fort has been a welcome distraction to 400 students who have had to change the way they learn indoors, thanks to the pandemic.
