A 49-year-old man will serve eight months behind bars for assaulting his former partner in Windsor. The victim managed to escape the property and fled on foot, flagging down a milkman in the town centre for help. Beldom was arrested the same day and charged the following day (April 1). He was sentenced to eight months in prison at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (October 26). He pleaded guilty to one count of Section 20 inflicting grievous bodily harm at the same court on August 25.
