Photo credit: Richard Milam--Windsor & Eton FC are preparing to host an Armed Forces Day at their home game against Maidenhead Town at Stag Meadow on Saturdsay week (November 25), kick off 2pm. The club is inviting members of the Armed Forces, their families, veterans and local cadet groups as their guests for the game, with plenty of activities for children happening around the ground. "Windsor is a proud military town and the original Windsor & Eton FC had a long history in regards to managers/coaches/players serving in the forces and representing the Army FA and Combined Services sides," said Michael Gegg, Windsor & Eton's communications lead. Ashley Cunningham, first team coach at Windsor, said, "As a serving member of the Welsh Guards and a coach of the club, I can't wait for this. Windsor & Eton is a club doing the right things off the field bringing communities together."
