He said that the President has taken his decision in goodwill and that Weerasekara would not oppose that decision. “The President has sacrificed many things for the betterment of the country. We have elected him because we trust him to make the right decision. I cannot comment on his decisions that were taken for the betterment of the country,” Weerasekara said.
