NEW DELHI: Central Reserve Police Force Director General R R Bhatnagar said that in light of the Pulwama vehicle bombing the force will build its anti-Improvised Explosive Device (IED) capabilities. The security measures were revised during discussions with the army, J&K Police and other agencies, held following the attack. Separately, the CRPF DG said that intelligence based counter-terrorist operations will now happen with “full vigour”.The primary focus now is to build IED measures. The CRPF DG had then told ET that IEDs are the emerging threat. The CRPF DG described it as a ‘new threat’.
