The team, headed by the department’s Wildlife Conservation Bureau, teamed up with natural resources and environment police in raiding the firm, and charged the owner with illegal possession of wildlife under the Wildlife Preservation and Protection Act. The seized birds include more than 40 white-breasted waterhen, along with some red-whiskered bulbuls.
