Jate insisted there should not be any attempt to reject the organic bills required under the Constitution in order to drag out the process. The election can take place 150 days after all four organic laws necessary for an election to take place are promulgated. The last two bills of these laws will be submitted to the NLA late next month, he said, adding that the assembly would then have 60 days to consider each of them. The other two laws have already been passed.
