Each is charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder Brigitte Vey and Jim Taylor. Brigitte Vey is expected to take the stand on Wednesday. Nicholson and Taylor had been separated since 2009, according to an agreed statement of facts presented at the trial. Vey and Nicholson were arrested in July 2013 when police were notified about the recording. Dereck Wierzbicki, who was in charge of the initial complaint, said no evidence connected to a murder plot was found during several police searches.
