Transportation (services) has jurisdiction over the road allowance. The city is responsible for large flower beds next to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, on Alexander St., but they've been neglected for years. Hart told the councillor’s office that urban forestry is indeed responsible for maintaining trees planted within the city road allowance, which includes the beds next to the hotel.
