The internet is full of content championing introverts, but extroverts are getting a bad rep by extension. Of course, not all introverts are bookish and thoughtful, just as not all extroverts are loud and overbearing. The problem is that when extroverts visibly demonstrate an emotion that doesn’t align with stereotypical extroversion, the results are jarring. A lot of the time, and especially on the internet, extroverts can’t win.
