PHOTO | JEFF ANGOTECampaign materials are still dotting parts of city after the expiry of a deadline that ordered politicians to remove such materials. Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s (IEBC) seven-day ultimatum for parties and candidates to get rid of all campaign materials ended on Tuesday. But a spot check around the capital on Wednesday found campaign posters still posted in Parklands area, Muthurwa market, and Machakos Country Bus. Around Landhies Road, posters of politicians, mostly MCA aspirants, are still on walls and litter bins. Governor Sonko has already deployed his Sonko Rescue Team to pull down all his campaign posters and those of other politicians.
