OPINION: This past weekend my family and I headed out to Foxton Beach with what felt like about half of Manawatū. That was until I was faced with what I always forget about at this location: bloody cars on the beach. A road is not a beach so why should a beach be a road? MURRAY WILSON/STUFF Swimmers enjoying Foxton Beach, just as they should. The only reason people drive on to Foxton Beach and other lower North Island beaches is because they can.
