That’s because Legault is taking bold steps to get tough with people who still refuse to get jabbed against COVID-19 — unlike Ontario Premier Doug Ford and federal Conservative leader Erin O’Toole, who both continue to coddle anti-vaxxers. It’s long been popular for political leaders such as Ford and O’Toole to believe Canadians are timorous and docile. They’ve had it with anti-vaxxers and their political enablers talking about the need to defend personal freedoms. Politicians who ignore this hardening line by the vaccinated toward the unvaccinated may be doing so at their own risk. Doug Ford and Erin O’Toole clearly don’t — or worse, don’t care.
