A small ground is teeming with people, all waiting patiently for Maharaja.As Jyotiraditya Scindia climbs up the stage, the crowd welcomes him eagerly. Clad in his trademark light blue kurta and white pyjama, Scindia takes the microphone and transforms completely into a performer striking a chord with people. Pointing to the cloth tied around his head he says, “But you know what the old saying here is – if it is hot you cover your head and keep an onion in your pocket.” He takes out an onion from his pocket. Everybody just wants to touch him or get themselves clicked.” As Scindia wraps up, the crowd gathers near his car. But just a week before polling he has finally started campaign.Many in Guna feel that Scindia is only fighting for increasing the margin of victory.
