For good or bad, nothing embodied the eighties quite like the late Princess Diana’s wedding dress in 1981. This time the venue was Westminster Abbey and the dress, designed by Lindka Cierach, was a another testimony to a decade of excess. For many ,the money is on Erdem designing her wedding dress but I’d love to see her choose a British designer. Historically royal wedding dresses have been a magical mix of the traditional and the new but I think Meghan will have more freedom than royal processors. I think Meghan and Victoria would be a match made in wedding dress heaven.
