A transgender taxi driver told a National Lottery phone operator she was shaking and in 'absolute shock', minutes after scooping £4 million on a scratchcard. A recording of the call Melissa Ede made to confirm her win has been released by the National Lottery. Miss Ede, 57, is well-known in Hull for her off-the-wall online videos and appearances on day-time TV shows. In the recording, Miss Ede says to the operator: 'Hi there. Miss Ede explained how she had the transition operation seven years ago and now wants to write a book about her 'extraordinary life'.
